PM decisions decreasing natural gas prices

Hereā€™s the link to Prime Minister decrees 743, 744 & 745 decreasing of natural gas price:

ā–ŗā–ŗā–ŗĀ Decreasing natural gas price.

The government has reduced the price of natural gas for electricity generation to USD 3.75 per million British thermal unit (mmbtu) to stimulate production. Ā 

The government has reduced the price of natural gas for the sector of fertilizers and chemical products to USD 4.5 per million British thermal unit (mmbtu) to stimulate production.Ā  According to theĀ AmCham, this translates into a 25% price cut for cement companies that were paying USD 6.00 per mmbtu, and an 18% cut for metallurgy and ceramic manufacturers.

The government has reduced the price of natural gas for the brick production to EGP73 per million British thermal unit (mmbtu) to stimulate production.Ā Ā
