Promotion of Saif Gamal as Counsel

We are delighted to announce the promotion of Saif Gamal as Counsel at Sharkawy & Sarhan.

Saif joined Sharkawy & Sarhan in 2021 from one of the prominent international law firms in Egypt. Saif has more than 12 years of legal experience between private practice and the judiciary at the Egyptian State Council.

Saif’s corporate practice spans across advising a number of key multinational clients in various sectors including, TMT, pharmaceuticals, and real estate development, on regulatory, corporate governance, restructuring, and transactional aspects, in addition to his in-house counseling positions in leading multinationals.

Throughout his service in the “Department of Legislation”, then the Higher Administrative Court at the State Council, he reported on a wide array of law bills and administrative disputes which enabled him to built a wide experience in Egyptian public law in relation to state contracts, state lands, various administrative licenses and regulatory bodies.

Such diversified experience brings an invaluable breadth of knowledge to our team. We look forward to Saif’s continued contribution to the firm and wish him all the best
