Esmat joined Sharkawy & Sarhan’s Telecommunication, Media and Technology team in September 2025 as Junior Associate after obtaining a Masters in Corporate Law from the University of Cambridge in July 2025. Esmat graduated as a valedictorian from the British University in Egypt in 2022.
Prior to joining Sharkawy & Sarhan, Esmat acted as a Teaching Assistant at the Faculty of Law, the British University in Egypt, where she specialized in common law, international commercial arbitration, and M&As.
Esmat advised several multinational companies on different general corporate matters, data protection, and consumer protection issues. She also advised several big tech companies on Fintech related matters.
