Natalia joined Sharkawy & Sarhan in May 2022 as a junior associate after graduating from the Faculty of Law and Legal Studies at the German University in Cairo.
Natalia’s practice includes providing advice on Mergers and Acquisitions and General Corporate. Recently, Natalia has focused primarily on advising major insurance, pharmaceutical, and tech companies, as well as financial institutions. She also assisted on a number of high-profile transactions in various sectors across the firm.

Vodafone Group on the potential sale of its shares in Vodafone Egypt to Vodacom Limited
Advising on Taqa’s expansion in Africa and their potential acquisitions including drafting and advising on share purchase agreements and shareholders agreements as well as liaising with and obtaining advice from local counsels in different African jurisdictions.
Allianz SE on the Egyptian law aspects related to its JV with Sanlam Limited. Such transaction requires a regulatory approval and the prime minister’s approval in Egypt, which is very challenging given the structure of the transaction is no common in Egypt and includes a number of complexities.
