She has advised multiple multinational clients on public and private M&A transactions in Egypt (acting for buyers and sellers) relating to Life Sciences and Telecommunication, Media and Technology sectors, including Vodafone Group, Dell Technologies, and STMicroelectronics N.V.
In addition to her experience in the M&A practice, she has worked in the fields of Capital Markets, Oil & Gas, Power and Renewables and Structured Finance. She participated in number of high-profile matters and transactions.

OPay Limited on all the Egyptian law aspects of its potential acquisition of a controlling stake Simple Touch, a leading Egyptian company in developing software specialized for restaurants.

Saint Gobain Group on the acquisition of 50% of the shares of Egyptian Gypson Company from the Egyptian shareholders. This included drafting and negotiating the Sale Purchase Agreement and the Assignment of Rights Agreement.

Riot Micro is a developer of wireless chips that are meant to build smart objects in the internet of things (IoT).

Coventry University with the application process for opening its branch in the New Capital, in Egypt including the review and negotiation of its collaboration agreement with the Egyptian university institution that is hosting the branch.

MoF on the admission of Egyptian treasury bills and treasury bonds (the “Securities”) to the Euroclear system. Our work included advising on several extensive questionnaires in relation to the eligibility of the Securities to be traded through the Euroclear system while being deposited within the Egyptian system, as well as the protection of the Securities holders’ rights at all times.

Growth Capital Partners on the Egyptian law aspects of acquiring the entire issued share capital of Robiquity Group Limited, UK’s leading ‘pureplay’ Intelligent Automation (IA) services provider.

Centamin PLC on the engineering, procurement and construction contract (EPC Contract) for a 36MW solar farm and 7.5 MW battery-energy storage system at its Sukari Gold Mine in Egypt. The Sukari solar plant will be the largest hybrid solar project at an off-grid mining operation globally and is expected to reduce diesel fuel consumption at Sukari by an estimated 22 million litres per annum and lower carbon emissions by an estimated 60,000 tonnes CO2-e per annum. The project is scheduled to be commissioned late in H1 2022.

EFG Hermes Private Equity on the sale of 100% stake in Ridgewood Group, leading water desalination and treatment group companies, to a joint venture between Hassan Allam Utilities and Almar Water Solutions. Our work included leading on the drafting and negotiation of the Egyptian law Transaction Documents.
