Youssef joined Sharkawy and Sarhan Law Firm in August 2022 as a junior associate after graduating with an LL.B. from the British University in Egypt and a B.A. in Anglo-Egyptian Law (First Class Honours) from London South Bank University, ranking among the top ten graduates in his class.
Youssef’s practice started in the firm’s procedures department where he focused on corporate governance and procedures for various international clients. He consistently represented clients before several governmental entities including the General Authority for Investment and Freezones (GAFI), Suez Freezone Administration, Suez Canal Economic Zone, Ministry of Manpower, National Organization for Social Insurance, Egyptian Customs Authority, General Organization for Export and Import Control, General Directorate for Passports and Immigration, and the Civil Defense Directorate.
After spending a year in the firm’s procedures department, Youssef switched his focus to the TMT sector where he utilized his previous experience in advising sector clients on general corporate, commercial, and employment matters.
