Commercial close of 10th of Ramadan Dry Port PPP Project and Logistics Centre.

Sharkawy & Sarhan is delighted to have participated in the successful commercial close of the landmark 10th of Ramadan Dry Port (#DP10) PPP project and Logistics Center (LC), the second PPP dry port in Egypt, between the General Authority for Land and Dry Ports (#GALDP) and MEDLOG Transport & Logistics.

The signing of the Project Concession Agreement took place on the 6th of January 2025 after approval by the Egyptian Parliament and was witnessed by His Excellency Deputy Prime Minister Lieutenant-General Kamel Al-Wazir, Minister of Transport, Industry and Trade.

This groundbreaking project is set to streamline trade and alleviate congestion at Egypt’s seaports. DP10 will boost sustainability by shifting freight from road to rail, developing Egypt’s logistics infrastructure and providing a crucial link between seaports and inland destinations.

We are privileged to have contributed to this project by acting as part of the project advisory team led by the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) for the General Authority for Land and Dry Ports (GALDP) and the PPP Central Unit (PPPCU).
